    太宗武德九年十二月二十九日诏曰：宣尼以大圣之德，天纵多能，王道藉
以裁成，人伦资其教义，故孟轲称生民以来一人而已。自汉氏驭历，魏室分区
，爰及晋朝，暨于隋代，咸相崇尚，用存享祀。朕钦若前王，宪章故实，亲师
宗圣，是所庶几存亡继绝，抑惟通典，可立孔子后为褒圣侯，以隋故绍圣侯孔
嗣　嫡子德伦为嗣。
