<p class="docx-p">1958年，毛泽东主席发出“大办民兵师”的指示，全国农村、街道、工厂都建立起民兵组织，20世纪70年代，立足于“要准备打仗”的形势估计，赋予了民兵组织重要的地位。1966年周村食品厂民兵连建立，1993年撤销。该组织在一个历史时期内发挥了应有作用。</p>
