    西关为淄川商贾重地。全国重点集市之一--淄川大集在西关，因此，俗称西关大
集。过去的太平街、鱼市街、复兴街、长兴街为商业店铺的集中区，较大商号多集于
此，如今的西关，是鲁中商城的商业中心，闻名全国的淄川服装城，淄川境内最大的
商业企业淄博华联商厦、东方商厦均置于此，国营、集体商业经营网点多处，个体工
商业户沿街设立店铺，商业经营摊点密如星云。平日人流如织，每逢集日人潮如海。
从古到今，西关皆为淄川重要的商品集散地。
