    皇城镇人口规模为： 1949年5300余户，2.2万人。60年代8700余户，4.3万人。1
982年第三次人口普查，7233户，27486人，其中农业人口26744人，非农业人口742人。
1990年第四次人口普查， 7971户，30386人，其中男性为15234人，女性15152人，农
业人口29462人， 非农业人口924人。2000年第五次人口普查，7924户，29675人，其
中男性14969人，女性14706人。皇城，北羊合镇后，2001年底，全镇总户数14090户，
农业总人口53460人。
