    建国前，养鸡、鸭、鹅，以户养为主，饲养以粗粮为主。
    建国后， 养鸡户逐年增加，均以户养。每户3-5只左右，般河两岸亦有少量喂养
鸭、鹅。
    中共十一届三中全会以后，养鸡业有了新的发展，出现了马衍忠、仲维怀等几户
专业养鸡户，到80年代末，伴随“农转非”，养鸡业随之锐减。
    90年代末，出现养鹿专业户刘加刚，养鹿8只，个人投资近5万元，开创渭二村养
鹿之先河。
