    民国时期，境内征收田房契税。
    建国以后，按政务院颁布的《契税暂行条例》，境内于1953年、1955年征收契税。
税率为卖价的6％，典价的3％。1956年实现了农业合作化，土地归集体所有，停止征
收契税，保留税种。
    1980年以后， 非农业建设占地逐年增加，耕地减少。为有效地控制占用耕地，1
987年4月1日国务院颁布了《中华人民共和国耕地占用税暂行条例》 ，开征耕地占用
税。
