<p class="docx-p">山东长途电信线路的建设,最早始于1881年。中华人民共和国成立后,开始有计划进行线路建设。80年代,随着国家经济的发展,邮电通信建设投资规模不断加大,一批电缆、微波线路相继投产运行。90年代,山东邮电大力投资建设光缆线路,长途电信线路实现历史性跨越:由架空明线、对称电缆、同轴电缆到光纤光缆,由模拟微波到数字微波;传输容量由单路载波、12路、60路、960路、1800路、3600路,直到光缆上百万路。至2002年,山东已拥有一、二级长途光缆线路 8000 多皮长公里,本地网光缆10491皮长公里,一二级长途微波干线5035波道公里,全省已构成四通八达,完全适应现代通信需求的长途通信网络。</p>
