<p class="docx-p">1899年(清光绪二十五年)7月1日大清邮改在胶澳设立胶州邮界(总局),归胶州 海关领导。胶州邮界设邮务总办,管辖邮界范围内的内地大清邮局,在胶澳租借地内设青岛邮件交换局一处,邮界和交换局均不办理营业。</p>
<p class="docx-p">1910年胶州邮界改为副邮界,设副总办。有供事20人,差役139人,其中青岛交换局员工6人。1911年5月30日邮界脱离胶州海关归属大清政府邮传部。1912年中华民国成立,废大清邮政建中华邮政。1914年1月1日邮界建置撤销。</p>
