<p class="docx-p">建国后，在“宽河固堤”的方针指导下，根据河道不断淤积抬高和不同时期的防洪标准，聊城黄河堤防先后进行了三次大规模的修堤工程，累计完成土方 4768.23 万立方米（不包括岁修土方），实用人工 2533.54 万工日，投资 5275.67 万元；其中临黄堤土方 2335.46 万立方米（培堤 2087.38 万立方米，加固土方 248.08 万立方米），实用人工 1301.13 万工日，投资 2549.01 万元。全区临黄大堤普遍加高 4～6米，帮宽 30～40米左右。至 1985 年已完成防御花园口站 22000 立方米每秒洪水，控制艾山下泄 10000 立方米每秒，堤防按 11000 立方米每秒设防的标准。</p>
