<p class="docx-p">商品检验区内商品检验机构于1988年开始筹建。</p>
<p class="docx-p">1989年,国家进出口商品检验局批准正式设立“聊城进出口商品检验局”,隶属山东进出口商品检验局领导,其主要职能是负责聊城地区进出口商品的检验、鉴定和监管工作。</p>
<p class="docx-p">1991年8月,山东进出口商品检验局批准聊城进出口商品检验局内设办公室和检验业务科。1992年1月,开始承接区内出口棉花、棉纱、棉布、针织品、粮食、饲料、脱水菜、包装及进口汽车、摩托车的检验和监管业务。随着区内外向型经济的不断发展,为适应商品检验业务范围和工作量的逐年增加,1993年1月,山东进出口商品检验局批准聊城进出口商品检验局增加内部机构,将原检验业务科分设为检验业务一科、二科。1994年6月,山东进出口商品检验局批准设立“山东商检聊城培训中心”,为机关直属事业单位,隶属聊城进出口商品检验局领导。</p>
