<p class="docx-p">1951年1月，平原省聊城行政督察专员公署更名为平原省&nbsp;人民政府聊城专区专员公署，时辖：聊城、阳谷、寿张、莘县、堂&nbsp;&nbsp;邑、冠县、清平、高唐、博平、东阿、聊城城关区(1951年3月，聊&nbsp;&nbsp;城城关区并入聊城县)。1952年初，为进行大规模的经济建设，&nbsp;建立以大中城市为中心的行政区划；同年10月，濮阳专区的濮&nbsp;县、范县、观城、朝城、划归聊城专区。专署机关驻聊城城内。专&nbsp;员由张新村担任。</p>
