<p class="docx-p">堂邑镇(原堂邑县于1956年并入聊城县),在春秋时代是齐国最西的一个边邑,那时叫“清邑”,以后历代改过多次名称,隋代开皇六年,才开始置堂邑县。堂邑镇原以城内的首为中心,这里是十字交叉路口,向四处辐射,有东街、北街、西街和南街四条街外紧接四关,即:东关､北关、西关和南关,关外还有一个小南关,因而号称“四街五关”。</p>
