    首创吕剧吕剧是由山东琴书演变而来。清光绪二十六年十二月二十三日(1901年2
月11日) ，广饶县牛庄镇时家村(今属东营区)琴书艺人时殿元等，首次在家乡时家村
化装演出了琴书段子--《王小赶脚》，使琴书由传统的坐唱形式向吕剧化迈出了重要
的一步。此后，化装琴书(亦称“化装扬琴”)广泛流传并逐步完善，至1952年正式定
名为“吕剧”。时殿元为吕剧的主要创始人。
