    民政信访工作是民政部门联系群众、了解群众、服务群众的平台和窗口，主要任
务是：受理、交办、转送民政工作对象通过各种渠道提出的信访事项；承办民政部和
省委、省政府信访局交办的信访事项；协调处理民政业务相关的重要信访事项；督促
本机关和下级民政部门信访事项的处理等。1988-2005年，全省各级民政部门积极反
映社情民意，努力为信访群众服务，做了大量政策宣传、解释和思想政治工作，协调
解决部分民政对象的实际困难，起到了调解缓和社会矛盾、促进社会和谐稳定的积极
作用。
