    2005年12月，山东省有伊斯兰教教职人员971人。其中，住寺阿訇420人，散班阿訇168人，海里凡383人。
    1996年1月，省伊协副会长杨宝泉、济南市伊协副秘书长王官明等20人被省政府宗教事务局评为山东省宗教界“爱国爱教先进个人”。2000年4月，济南市清真南大寺管委会主任马友元等30人被省政府宗教事务局评为山东省宗教界“双迎双创”活动先进个人。
