    放射卫生包括对医用诊断X线、放射性同位素、工业用放射线的使用管理和相关人群的健康防护。1986年，山东省卫生、公安部门启动工业用放射源管理工作。1990年，贯彻国务院《放射性同位素与射线装置放射防护条例》，全省实行放射线使用许可和放射人员持证上岗制度，对新建、改扩建射线基建项目进行预防性监督。2000年后，全省实施公共卫生综合执法，加大对放射线使用单位监管力度和违规行为查处力度，促进了放射卫生管理制度化、规范化。
