    山东省林木种质资源收集与保护，以乡土树种为重点，优先实施珍稀、濒危、特
有树种的抢救和保护，采取原地保护为主、原地保护和异地保护相结合的保存方式。
    山东省乡土花卉种质资源丰富。1988-2005年，先后从国外引进牡丹、月季、菊
花、玫瑰等优良花卉品种。2005年，全省栽培观赏花卉主要有牡丹、月季、玫瑰、菊
花、荷花等538种，隶属109科；野生花卉有472种，隶属104科。
