    1986年，全省共生产金属镓6511千克、硫化钴39.32吨。山东省金属镓只有山东铝业公司生产，钴只有山东东佳集团公司（原淄博钴厂）生产。1986—2005年，全省金属稼和钴产量逐年萎缩降低，以生产钴为主业的山东东佳集团公司逐渐转行换代其他产品，支撑企业生产发展。由于金属镓和钴的生产企业少，生产规模相对较小。
