    1999年以前，山东出入境商品检验检疫工作信息化建设处于初期阶段，主要工作是向国内外学习和引入计算机参与管理。2000年以后，逐步推广应用出入境检验检疫综合业务计算机管理系统（CIQ2000），开展“三电”工程和“大通关”建设，信息化建设快速发展。至2005年底，检验检疫主要业务均实现信息化管理。
