    2000—2005年，全省辐射环境保护工作取得进展。山东省率先在全国制定辐射环境管理办法；建成城市放射性废物库及配套实验室并投入使用；辐射管理队伍初步形成，人员素质不断提高；除日照、莱芜两市，其他城市初步具备开展放射源监督性监测和事故应急监测能力；基本摸清全省放射源情况，确保放射源安全；建立应急响应系统，妥善处理辖区内发生的辐射事故。
