    道路旅客运输包括班车客运、包车客运、旅游客运及客运站服务等。计划经济时期，全省道路旅客运输基本是国有运输公司独家经营。20世纪70年代前后，受经济结构等多种因素制约，出现“运量大于运力”和“出行难”“乘车难”的现象。1984年，全省国有运输企业独家经营道路客运局面被打破，运输结构发生变化，全社会客运运力和运量均大幅增长。
