     20世纪80年代末期以前， 山东省人口研究内容主要是两种生产理论、人口控制
和人口政策，侧重于人口数量问题；研究方法主要是定性研究和数据资料分析，调查
研究较少； 成果形式主要是论文，专著较少。1989-2005年，山东省人口科学研究取
得突破性进展。研究机构不断充实，研究领域扩展，研究方法多种多样，研究成果数
量持续增加，研究质量显著提高，许多成果进入政府决策。
