    山东省金矿床埋藏深度较浅或矿体出露地表的矿山，一般采用露天开采方式。露
天开采相比地下开采工序简单、易管理、安全、经济效益好。
    20世纪80年代，部分资源较好的砂金矿采用洗选机组采选。此后，较大的砂金矿
使用采金船进行开采和选矿。进入21世纪后，省内没有勘探出符合采金船开采条件的
砂金矿床，采金船砂金开采业务停止。
