    20世纪50年代，引黄供水主要用于农业灌溉和放淤改土，随着国家经济建设发展，
城乡生活、工业生产用水增加，引黄供水逐渐由单纯的农业灌溉发展成为多目标供水。
2005年，山东引黄供水，包括向沿黄城乡工农业生产、生活供水和华北、胶东部分大
中城市远距离供水等。全省有11个市的68个县(市、区)用上了黄河水。1986-2005年，
山东黄河累计引水1426亿立方米，年均引水71.32亿立方米。
