</font><center><b>戚家园林、南塘村和南塘庙的来历</b></center>
<center>(定远)</center>

据传，安徽省定远县永康镇街北曾为戚详(戚继光六世祖)故居地；永康镇西
0.5公里曾有戚氏祖墓；定远城南1.5公里，传为戚家园林。

戚继光辞世后，定远人民为了纪念他，把戚家园林附近一座古寺改名为"南
塘庙"；把园址附近一个村庄改名为"南塘村"，并塑像纪念。

注：据《明史?戚继光传》、《戚少保年谱》记载，戚继光历史上从未到过
安徽定远。
