<center>(温岭)</center>

浙江省温岭市新河镇每年九月初九夜，百姓都要在戚武毅公祠前张灯结彩，
举行迎神仪式，而后进行各种群众性的娱乐活动。

据说，戚继光当年于九月初九夜进驻新河。

为了纪念这一事件，新河百姓每到这一天都要举行上述庆祝活动。此俗沿袭
至今。

注：一说是给城隍庆寿。
