【概况】2001年底，民建山东省委员会直属威海市支部委员会有会员13人，其中具有
中高级职称的12人，占92%。
    民建威海市支部发挥参政党的作用，在参政议政、民主监督方面作出了贡献。多
次参加市委、市政府组织的座谈会，对2001年威海市《政府工作报告》提出了修改意
见。 全年提出提案6份，其中《加速发展消防事业》、《加快海水利用步伐，促进威
海经济发展》(与其他政协委员共同提出)在九届市政协第四次会议上被评为优秀提案。
年内，民建威海市支部会员获山东省科技进步三等奖1人。
