　　镇党委书记黄宗殿，镇长解英明*、田世敬。镇政府驻侯家村，辖38个行政村，
人口2.75万人，面积86.3平方公里，其中耕地3377.1公顷。1998年实现工农业总产
值15亿元，农村经济总收入6.4亿元，财政收入455万元，农民人均纯收入3556元，
分别比上年增长4.2%、3.2%、23.3%和12.89%。中学2所，小学7所，在校学生3537
人。农业战胜特大洪涝灾害，取得较好收成，总收入2.99亿元。工业形成制鞋、液
压油缸、钻床、农药、电子五大支柱产业。1998年完成工业总产值6.5亿元，利税1.
27亿元。该镇海岸线长14.25公里，滩涂广阔，年内投资1200万元，引进新技术、
新品种，改造虾池186.7公顷，引进水貂良种3000只，皮毛生产专业村发展到15个，
专业户1200户，出售貂皮6万张，成为山东省特种养殖示范基地。1998年被评为“
山东省科普先进乡镇”。
