　　镇党委书记周勇，镇长张积聚。镇政府驻邱家村，辖28个行政村，2个居委会，
人口2.5万人，面积44平方公里，其中耕地2400公顷。1998年全镇农村经济总收入
11.5亿元，农民人均纯收入3508元。职业中专1所、普通中学1所、小学6所，在校
学生4300多人。该镇位于荣成市西南部，北、西、南三面环海，海岸线长18公里，
滩涂养殖和浅海养殖面积均超过667公顷，半数村庄和5个镇办企业、5000多名劳动
力直接从事渔业生产，是荣成市重点渔业镇。1998年水产品总产量10万吨，渔业总
收入9.6亿元，渔业龙头企业邱家渔业公司连续5年纯益过亿元。镇村两级企业43家，
产值11.9亿元，利润9630万元。
