　　镇党委书记于志平，镇长田国泉。镇政府驻滕家村，辖41个行政村，人口2.7
万人，面积85平方公里，其中耕地4333公顷。1998年全镇农村经济总收入7.54亿元，
农民人均纯收入2950元。拥有市级重点中学荣成市第五中学，校内专设1个民族班(
藏族)，小学8所，在校学生4758人。该镇位于荣成市中部，距市中心15公里，属农
业大镇，农作物以小麦、玉米、花生、水果为主。1998年完成工业总产值10.9亿元，
利润5329万元。
