　　镇党委书记王厚安，镇长董昭富。镇政府驻吕家庄村，辖9个行政村，人口
5120人，面积8.05平方公里，其中陆地面积4.75平方公里，耕地200公顷。1998年
全镇农村经济总收入1.97亿元，农民人均纯收入3610元。学校1所(中小学合办)，
在校学生760人。该镇位于荣成市东南端，三面环海，地势平坦，海岸线长18公里，
属典型的海岛渔业镇，全镇海水养殖面积1333公顷，1998年渔业总产量2.21万吨，
渔业总收入1.35亿元。该镇距国家一类开放港口--石岛港仅2.5海里，风光秀丽，
气候宜人，交通通讯便利，是理想的旅游避暑胜地。
