　　镇党委书记石永林，镇长张同友。镇政府驻西上庄村，辖45个行政村，人口3
万人，面积76平方公里，其中耕地3720公顷。1998年全镇农村经济总收入7.55亿元，
农民人均纯收入3001元。中学3所、小学7所，在校学生5000人。该镇位于荣成市西
南部，海岸线长5公里，属农业经济大镇，是荣成市重要的粮油、水果生产基地。
工业形成机械、电子、轻纺、建材四大支柱产业，主导产品有煤气表、变压器、花
键轴等。1998年完成工业总产值9.93亿元，利润5400万元。
