　　镇党委书记刘厚富，镇长滕学龙。镇政府驻埠柳村，辖37个行政村，人口2.67
万人，面积96平方公里，其中耕地3100公顷。1998年全镇农村经济总收入7.26亿元，
农民人均纯收入3610元。中学3所、小学9所，在校学生4100人。该镇位于荣成市北
部，是荣成市农业产业化重点镇，以水果、肉食鸡养殖、蔬菜种植、养牛、养羊、
农副产品加工为主的农业产业化格局初具规模，其中水果种植面积2000公顷，人均
0.07公顷，总产量5.9万吨，果品冷风库6处，总库容8000吨，年出口水果6000多吨，
水果收入占农民收入的50％以上。
