　　威海市轮渡有限公司成立于1997年3月，1998年9月完成企业改制，是从事海上
国际和国内客货运输的专业企业。公司有管理人员和船员120人,拥有“启明星”轮、
“生生”轮2艘船舶。“启明星”轮主要从事国际近洋货运，运力1618载重吨。“
生生”轮从事威海至大连客滚运输，运力1128载重吨，拥有客位1002个，其中高档
床铺482个，航空椅244个，拥有8吨标准车位30个，小车位30个。1998年，公司完
成货运量3万吨，客运量21万人次，滚装运输车辆2万辆次。
