　　1992年12月被山东省政府批准为省级经济技术开发区，总规划面积14.8平方公
里。辖双龙街道办事处，13个居委会。
　　1997年，全区完成国内生产总值2.99亿元，工业总产值10.3亿元，实现利税2
.43亿元，出口创汇2106万美元。发展进区项目4个，总投资2309万元，其中，三资
企业2个，合同外资额154.8万美元；开工建筑面积1.25万平方米，竣工1.96万平方
米。街道工业完成销售收入1.04亿元；农村经济总收入达到1.6亿元。
