【概况】  1996年，全市有乡镇以上水产管理服务机构131个，技术人员600人，其中中级以
上技术职务100人。 全市水产养殖面积1.14万公顷，其中池塘养殖面积3566公顷，水库养殖
面积7481公顷，网箱养殖面积25公顷。全年生产各类鱼苗3.65亿尾，比上年增加6500万尾；
投放大规格鱼种9000万尾，比上年增加3000万尾；实现水产品产量4.6万吨，产值3亿元，分
别增长43.8%和66.7%。
【水产良种产业化开发】  年内，全市水产良种产业化开发工程开始实施，首批推广的优良
品种为大银鱼、 建鲤、 彭泽鲫。年底，全市大银鱼移植和建鲤、彭泽鲫推广面积分别达到
1.58万公顷和93.3公顷、33.3公顷。(邢攸三)
