    2000年8月， 国家农发办在潍坊市召开座谈会，总结全国农业现代化示范区
建设的基本经验， 研究探讨加入WTO后农业现代化示范区建设的问题和对策。与
会领导视察了寿光、诸城两市的农业现代化示范区和科技示范园区，沿途还参观
了潍坊至诸城、寿光两条农业高新技术走廊。会议认为潍坊市的农业现代化示范
区建设走在全国前列，探索出了在沿海地区实现农业现代化的新途径。
