    1999年，为尽快控制大气污染，改善大气质量，潍坊市结合创建国家环境保
护模范城市， 开展了城市环境综合整治工作。 全市工业废气污染源达标率完成
84.2％。 先后关停了坊子、诸城、临朐、昌乐等4个县市区的发电厂，年可削减
二氧化硫1.5万吨，烟尘6.8万吨；关停高密柏城水泥厂、安丘市铅锌矿水泥厂等
8个4.4吨以下的小水泥生产企业，年削减工业粉尘8000吨。中心城区有80台燃煤
锅炉改为燃油锅炉,20台改为电炉,1384台茶水炉全部改烧清洁燃料。全市所有汽
油销售网点停止销售车用含铅汽油。
