    海化开发区充分利用山东海洋化工集团自营进出口权的优势，积极拓宽国际
大市场，外向型经济得到迅速发展。1996年，全区有纯碱、氢溴酸、溴素、灭火
剂等10多种海洋化工产品出口国外，其中出口纯碱15.3万吨。先后与韩国、日本、
新加坡、菲律宾等国家建立了稳固的贸易关系，客户发展到近百家，自营出口创
汇2162万美元。 招商引资工作取得较大进展。到1996年底，拥有三资企业4家，
实际利用外资221.6万美元，推动了全区经济的发展。
