    1996年，开发区大力发展各类科技实体和高科技企业，新批准成立科研机构
3家，经省科委新认定的高新技术企业6家。全年组织实施市以上科技推广项目、
火炬计划项目及攻关项目等各类科技计划项目50多项。先后开发生产纳米材料、
IC智能卡、 “大哥大”超薄型电池、DC-DC转换器等高科技产品60多项，取得了
较好的经济效益。
