    1996年， 潍坊市有专职档案人员2007人，兼职人员13423人。全市编纂档案
资料300多万字， 编制检索工具10种、160册，接收征集档案资料2万余卷册，接
待利用者3500人次，提供档案资料2万卷(册)次。13个综合档案馆建筑面积20859
平方米， 档案库房建筑面积10163平方米，馆藏各种档案资料达56万卷册。市政
府41次常务会议研究决定，市档案馆新馆建设列入全市“九五”规划，计划1997
年下半年动工；市馆和寿光、临朐、诸城3县市档案馆分别配备了密集架、微机。
到年底， 全市综合档案馆有微机19台、复印机8台、空调29台、去湿机34台、阅
读器1台。
