    1996年，潍坊市通过举办’96中国度假休闲年活动和开发现代化娱乐旅游产
品，全市接待国内外旅游人数和旅游收入与上年相比有较大幅度增长。全年接待
国外旅客、华侨及港澳台同胞15024人次，国内游客368万人次，分别比上年增长
13.7％、 16.1％。其中，外国游客11426人次，占海外游客总数的76.1％；华侨
508人次， 占海外游客总数的3.4％； 港澳台同胞3090人次。全市旅游总收入达
16.2亿元， 其中国内旅游收入15.9亿元，国际旅游收入438万美元，分别比上年
增长39.8％、37.7％、101.8％。
