    1996年，潍坊市继续加强了以治理城市“四害”(废水、废气、废渣和噪声)
为重点的城市环境综合整治。至年底，潍坊市市区 (潍城区、奎文区、坊子区、
寒亭区) 烟尘控制区面积53.4平方公里，烟尘控制区覆盖率达到86％；区域环境
噪声平均值56.3分贝，道路交通噪声平均值66.9分贝；大气中总悬浮微粒和二氧
化硫年日平均值分别控制到了335微克/立方米和153微克/立方米。
