    市邮电局20万线无线寻呼系统于1995年3月实现联网以来， 无线寻呼业务发
展迅速。至1995年底，第一、二频点容量已接近饱和。为适应全市无线寻呼业务
的快速发展，市邮电局投资14.2万美元引进加拿大建利尔公司的寻呼设备，新增
发射机11台，开通第三频点。该扩容工程于1996年5月开通，新增容量5万户。同
时新开通了“188”人工台、189自动寻呼台。该台具有传呼、查询、定时呼、提
供信息等多种服务功能。
