    潍坊市邮电局原有二部EMX-500模拟移动通信交换机， 该机实占容量已达到
90%以上， 致使模拟移动电话接通率低。 为解决这一问题， 市邮电局决定投资
6800万元， 引进美国摩托罗拉公司生产的EMX-2500E移动通信交换机。  该机于
1996年6月15日22时割接成功，投入运行，缓解了风筝都“大哥大”难打的现象，
为用户提供了更加便捷的服务。
