    1996年，潍坊市乡镇企业紧紧围绕加快由乡镇企业大市向乡镇企业强市的跨
越，加大工作措施，大力推进两个根本性转变，使整个乡镇企业呈现出由大发展
向大提高的战略转变。到年底, 全市乡镇企业发展到218089处, 安排农村劳动力
1612302人；完成乡镇企业总产值1029.5亿元,比上年增长33.5％。乡镇工业完成
总产值736.3亿元,乡镇工业增加值完成193.8亿元,分别比上年增长28.4％和39.1
％。全市乡镇企业实现利税83亿元, 增长48.3％；乡镇企业累计办成“三资”企
业746家，总投资7.3亿美元，合同利用外资4亿美元，实际利用外资1.99亿美元；
乡镇企业出口创汇额8.56亿美元，比上年增长23％；乡镇企业全年支付职工工资
83.2亿元；乡镇企业固定资产原值达到202.6亿元。
