    潍坊地毯厂始建于1958年。38年来，逐步发展成为以男工地毯为主要产品的
中(二)型企业。从1990年开始，企业的生产经营逐渐陷入困境。到1996年4月末，
企业由于严重亏损， 资不抵债，无力清偿到期债务，于5月17日向潍坊市中级人
民法院提出了依法破产申请。 法院于5月18日正式受理了潍坊地毯厂破产案，同
日下达了潍坊地毯厂破产还债民事裁定书， 依法宣告破产还债。9月10日，按照
法定程序召开了第一次债权人会议，通过了破产财产分配方案。
