    1995年11月3日， 为纪念反法西斯和平战士利迪尔逝世五十周年，山东省体
委、教委共同在潍坊举办了“利迪尔纪念运动会”。香港利迪尔纪念基金会主席
莫礼信专程前来参加运动会。 利迪尔是爱尔兰人，曾获奥运会400米金牌。1945
年6月病逝于日军设在潍县(现潍坊市区)的集中营内。
