    全市首家企业办地震台--潍坊纯碱厂地震台，于1992年11月建成并投入运行。
该台是由潍坊纯碱厂投资26万元，在国家地震局地球物理所协助下建成的。拥有
“井下摆地震仪”、“电磁波仪”、“水位自动记录仪”等观测手段，是全国大
型化工企业少有的台站之一。该台的建成，不仅为本厂搞好防震减灾创造了条件，
同时增加了全市的震情监测力量。
