    中国民主同盟(简称民盟)是主要由从事文化教育以及科学技术工作的高中级
知识分子组成的、 具有政治联盟特点的、 同中国共产党通力合作的参政党。于
1941年在重庆成立。潍坊民盟成立于50年代，1984年11月建立市委会。潍坊民盟
自成立以来，充分发挥在文教、科技方面的智力优势，积极参政议政和开展社会
服务活动，赢得了社会各界的赞誉。至1997年底，潍坊民盟共有成员154人。
